In this moment, I am thinking about personality mirroring and the performance of self, tax deductions, foreign films, less always being more, my existentialist streak being bad for deadlines, the Ed Ruscha retrospective at MoMA, this twitter account that just posts pictures from trail cams being the most beautiful thing, and how, when I consider climate change & labor supply chains, I know it is unreasonable to expect to have access to all of the fresh fruit all year long but Target hasn’t had cherries in over a month and it’s starting to get to me because the last bag was so good I can’t stop thinking about it.
