This week I read Negrophobia, which was a rollercoaster of a book. Imagine American Psycho meets Alice in Wonderland, but directed by Kara Walker, and that’s kind of the vibe. Some truly laugh out loud funny, and stop for a moment disgusting, moments. Would recommend. I am also thinking about how $100 is the new $20 and $1,000 is the new $100, Yurugu, the power of a good playlist, reading through my collected magazines, finding a good poster for my new walls, finding a good dresser for my clothes, finding a good date for my evenings, ikebana, and convincing myself that buying these Gucci loafers will substantially improve my quality of life even though history proves they won’t but the next purchase is always the most exciting one.
