I finished laying out the book of year one’s Frames, and it is a doozy. With the current layout, each week takes 16 pages, multiply that by the amount of weeks in a year, and you get 832. So, back to the drawing board on that one because I’m not trying to make a book the size of a nightstand that costs >$100. However, seeing a year’s worth of images laid out like that has made me think about the selection and sequencing of these a bit differently. We’re refining.

This week I am thinking about seeing the Ed Ruscha show at MoMA before it closes; also seeing some good Picassos at MoMA and realizing that, even as a ubiquitous household-name, Picasso might still be underrated––he was really Him for the better part of a century; I want to get back into writing regularly; I am already bored with hearing about ‘how AI works’; whitening my teeth; keeping these Cala lilies alive.
