I missed last week because I was very busy with work and packing to move into a new apartment and also I was constantly sweaty because of the heatwave; all of those have now passed and I am feeling like myself again, but slightly new, and somewhat improved. I didn’t entirely forget about the Frames, but I kind of decided that, as a human being doing this newsletter as an exercise in beating perfectionism, I deserve to maybe miss a week. As long as I send 52 sets of Frames in 2023 I will be satisfied.

From the comfort of my new living room (which, get this, is not also my bedroom; pictures one and two below), I am thinking about; organizing bookshelves, groceries costing more than takeout, the Travis Scott album is bad but the Bully album is great, being nine weeks out from the Marfa 100, I realized I have a lot of pants now which is notable because at one point in my life I lived every day in the same pair of black Acne jeans, the US gov’t is soft-launching aliens and people could not care less because they won’t release any photos, within the next decade it simply won’t be okay for New England homes to not have central AC, I’m in the market for new tableware, Kodak has released disposables with professional grade black and white film stock, and how I was talking to a friend about a peculiar feeling of attraction I felt towards someone but was having difficulty articulating and they said “you’re literally just describing liking someone” and sometimes the simplest explanation really is the best one.
